This is babe's 1st plane ride in her first three years of life. We have decided to go to Phuket, Thailand for a 5 days' holiday.... babe is thrilled when she heard about this. Well, there's a reason for all this reaction, cos all along she's been the one hearing about Daddy's frequent Thailand business trips, but she knew nothing much about travelling in planes and other countries, except her lovely nest in Singapore.
In the plane, though it was only 1+ hr away from Singapore, I know exactly how much preparation I need to ensure a blissful plane ride. From my experience from hearing all those terror stories about how mums struggle with a ever curious preschooler. As usual, babe is ever so restless.... she will need new activities every 15 mins. Fyi, this is an old aliment about babe, so I brought along my laptop for a 45 mins Barney music video, and some drawing paper and crayons.... Phew.... and not forgetting babe's favourite mint sweets to ease the earache when taking off and landing. What a kiasu mother I am.... keke :)
Throughout the 5 days in Phuket, life is Great! Everything's perfect, except one tiny flaw.... it's only babe's who enjoying it, but both Mummy & Daddy are dead beat tired.... cos we didn't bring babe's stroller along.... and all parents should know one basic fact, that all new age toddlers are the same... they can't walk much before they complained of their feet tired, and we as the parents of Babe have to lug her around patong city...... haiz....
Life was hard in patong, but when smiles are written on babe's face, all tiredness are forgotten. We simply adore her.....
School holidays were over, classes have commence back in Sunshine Haven. After a long wait for the school holidays to be over, babe is thrilled going back to school on 26th June 2006.
Over this week, I noticed babe has grown to love school, not any other school, but her Sunshine Haven. She has even made a new best friend, Ricole. In the last semester, babe always grumbled to me about Ricole being the unfriendly one in school, so she has no choice but to hang out with the other classmates, especially a boy named Zhe Wen, who taught her how to cycle in school. In the past, Ricole always refused to hug babe whenever babe attempted to do so.... and this means a lot to a 3 year old, cos this is a show of affection for the other. Babe used to be so upset about this.
Recently, babe told me Ricole has changed to be more affectionate, which delighted babe so much that changed her opinion of Ricole. Ricole accepted all babe's hugs, and even kiss babe and offered her biscuits.... wow wow.... that sort of win over babe's heart.... and now they are the best friends of all.
As for Zhe Wen, the bicycle coach, babe seldom talk about him anymore.
I noticed there are a few new kids in the school, which means babe's circle of friends is growing.
Did I mentioned Tiffany rave to me about her favourite English Teacher, Lynn? Apparently, this teacher dotes on babe so much that she named babe as her DARLING, and she will imitate to me how Lynn will call her, " Darling Darling Girl!", babe is so proud of this!
I also confirmed Babe is not one to keep secrets well.... cos recently I just casually mentioned to her that I will introduced her to a new brain class on Sunday afternoon, and the very next day, every teacher in school knows about this..... wow.... she can spread news very fast huh! Besides this, the teachers will always know when James, babe's father, is away in Thailand, cos she will announced to all that she is sleeping with me.
My Hello Kitty Theme Birthday Party - I have turned 3 today.... it's been a long wait ever since mummy and daddy got me excited about the party 2 months ago.... yap, my folks are so kiasu, but this shows how much they care for me. They told me they are planning a Hello Kitty theme part for me, which of course is my fave character at this time. There will be pink cutlery, plates and bowls, hello kitty lollipops, hello kitty printed balloons, hello kitty cake and a self made hello kitty party hat just for me!
All the Leaws' and Phuas' family are invited to my party held in Downtown East. We have booked a 3days/ 2nights stay for all kids to have fun with me.... cos this is my special day of the year.... mummy said this is my HOLIDAY.... I can play as wild as I want, I can feast on all sorts of JUNK FOOD such as sweets, ice-cream, lollipops, potato chips, cheezels and etc..... no restrictions on this day. What a holiday!

Father's Day --- Mummy looks tired today. Apparently, all my folks have attended a wedding dinner last night, except me and ya-ya.... I was not allowed to attend one since young due to some reason that I failed to understand.
Anyway, mummy and all the yi-yis' have decided to dine at a chinese restaurant located in Parco, Bugis Junction.
Initially, Gong-gong has advised mummy not to splurge $$ on him on Father's Day, but all agreed that it's only once a year... and mummy doesn't fancy practising favourism....
Hi-5 Show is finally here.... it's held at the Singapore Expo.... and mummy got us the tickets for the 7pm Friday night concert.
We were there pretty early at 6pm, cos we are afraid it might not be easy to find a parking lot later.... so we decided to take our dinner at the Expo instead, but it turn out to be a wrong choice.... cos we have chosen a restaurant that serves horrible western food.... you cannot even find decent french fries here.

--> This Jup Jup costs my parents $40 bucks.... but it's worth every penny.... cos you can't see them in stores.... I love it! I also got a newly released Hi-5 VCD too.
--> So excited... waiting for the show to start.
--> Trying to squeeze the 3 of us in.... but I wasn't cooperating.
I love, cherish and devote my life to my 3 babes...their happiness is my pride & joy. I have this great man who loves me unconditionally for the past decade. He tolerates my irrational personality, and gives in to my every whine and whim....& most importantly, he taught me to be a better person. I have mature a lot throughout the decade.... being a mother of an amost 4 year old kiddo ( with another coming on the way) is a real great accomplishment in my life. Tiffie taught me lessons on life, on how to be a patient, kind & thoughtful person. I learned unhappiness is not the end the road, striving to be knowledgeable, just to be a role model to her. Though mischievous with a volatile temper that drives my folks mad, I would say she's real adorable. She loves to laugh, tease, hug and plant juicy kisses on her loved ones... a very emotional but sentimental person. ---> She's the life of the family, contributing all sorts of anger, happiness, laughter to each & every life.
