:: Daddy's Out of Town ::

Daddy's out of town again. Lately, he had been making regular business trips to thailand once every 2 weeks.

Well, although I should be unhappy upon hearing daddy's leaving us for the umpteen time..... somehow I didn't bother to disguise my happiness upon hearing this news from Mummy! Let me explain myself.... I was truthfully overjoyed that daddy's going away... just because of a simple and innocent reason.... I am granted the permission to accompany my mummy in bed. Instead of dad being the sleeping mate, I can sleep, hug, cuddle mummy in bed till morning, without having to hear any of my mum's backache complains in the morning..... I was indeed ecstatic!

Sorry dad.... didn't mean to hurt you.... but I'm just a kiddo with an innocent mentality....

So dad's away, so what should we plan for the weekend then???

As usual, it's another outing with the PHUA family. After a sumptuous dinner at the East Coast hawker centre.... yap yap.... it's not a restaurant, but who cares, the food is cheap and good... we are all looking for a great dinner without fuss. After arriving at the carpark in 2 separate cars, we were so thankful that we have travelled in gong-gong's car instead of Uncle Gavin's... gong-gong seemed to be lucky that day, we immediately found a parking lot in the midst of a fleet of impatient cars waiting for lots.... and got a clean and huge empty table once we got in in less than 5 mins.... we all agreed we owed it to gong-gong's shining star.

Mummy and Ma-ma got around ordering seafood, satays, chicken wings and etc.... in half an hour later, the others have arrived, just in time to tuck themselves hungrily and greedily into the food. TEAM work leh....

We decided to proceed on to a bowling game nearby after a heavy dinner.... and guess who was the most excited about the event.... it's ME! It's my virgin bowling experience.

Though it turned out all my balls went down the drain without hitting many (I mean almost nothing).... I'm still satisfied with my performance.... cheering myself aloud after every bowl, which draws all onlookers' attention to me!

After the game, the PHUAs decided to drop by my house to pay a visit to YUKI, our friendly maltese.... and Er-Yi started snapping shots away once we reached home.

:: My 1st attempt at making fried dumplings ::

This is my 1st attempt to try to make fried dumplings with Ya-ya and Mummy.....

There are 2 types of dumplings to make, one specially for Daddy and the other type for all others..... do you know why?

Apparently, Daddy's special dumplings come with little pork meat but more prawns.... whereas we prefer ours with proportionate amounts of meat and prawns....

:: Hi-5 Tickets ::

Hooray... mummy has finally comfirmed my Hi-5 tickets for this coming 2nd June concert held in Singapore Expo.... she has collected the tickets from the sistic counter this morning....

Great.... something to look forward to during my June Holidays :)

:: 1st Day in Nursery One ::

28th March 2006 - Today is my 1st day in Nursery One in a new school.

School: Sunshine Haven Kindergarten
Location: Wolskel Road



I am so nervous about my 1st day in a totally unfamiliar environment.... new friends, new teachers, new place....

Mummy told me that I am here to learn new things and meet new people.... to enrich my life... to be a better person.... :)

However, there's a small sacrifice.... i have to wake up at 7am (Mon~Fri), brush my teeth.... wash my face.... put on my uniform... and proceed on to have my breakfast which mainly consists of a mug of milk and an egg /or a slice of bread with ham & cheese /or a slice of cake....

Latest by 7.55am, I have to be out of my home heading to my school which starts at 8am, with my favourite national anthem sang in groups of different ages....

It's fun, but I think i would need a few weeks to get used to time without mummy.... cos i was crying away whenever Mummy is leaving me in the care of Teacher Lynn.
